Nilai 4 class is an intermediate class conducted for children with the basic Tamil proficiency. Nilai 3 level knowledge is a must as a prerequisite. Otherwise, children must have learned Tamil elsewhere and should be equally proficient.
The lessons cover Tamil words, small phrases, sentences, conversation, stories, essays with grammar. Knowing the basic Tamil grammar is the main objective of this level. Towards this objective, more focus on reading/writing will be given. Also nouns, verbs, gender etc will be covered.

இந்த வகுப்பில் சொற்கள், சிறிய சொற்றொடர்கள், உரையாடல், கதைகள், சிறிய கட்டுரை கள், இவற்றோடு இலக்கணமும் கற்பிக்கப் படுகிறது. தமிழிலக்கண அடிப்படை அறிதல் இந்நிலையின் குறிக்கோள். இதன்படி, தமிழ்ச் சொற்கள், சிறிய வாக்கியங்கள் எழுதுவது, படிப்பது ஆகியவற்றுக்குக் கவனம் செலுத்தப்படும். மற்றும் பெயர்ச் சொற்கள், வினைச் சொற்கள், பால் வகை முதலியன நடத்தப்படும்.
