VTA is introducing google classroom tool along with zoom for class communications, home works and for other features.

  • Why do we need zoom along with Google classroom ? – Zoom is to handle the live class room sessions as we see the more features and user friendly. Google classroom will be for communications , homework and other offline activities with in the class.
  • Why parents need to create email address for children ? In-order to associate students to google classroom we needed email address to be created by parents (All Nilai’s). And homework submission to google classroom should be through this email address provided.
  • Where should I update my children email address and why only gmail ?. You can update your children email address on my.valluvantamil.org. Login and click edit on “Your Info” to update children email address. Google classroom mandates to have gmail so other email provider is not supported.

Home Work Submission on Google Classroom FAQ’s.

  • Duly submit homework on time and click “Turn in” for teachers corrections.
  • If you are submitting photos and audios please make sure the size is not above 25MB.
    • Any files above 50MB will be purged after 7 days.
  • If there was a request to submit a video please upload to your google drive and paste the link on “private comments” and “Turn in or Mark as done”. Make sure the link is sharable to teachers.
  • All Google classroom and attachment will be archived and purged by at the end of school year
