Our goal is to encourage all VTA students to read Tamil books and borrow Tamil books from the library.
The benefits of the reading program:
- Children are motivated to read Tamil books.
- Children develop positive attitudes about reading, books, and the library.
- Children improve their vocabulary and Tamil reading /speaking skills.
- Children will become aware of how our history, culture, and language intercept.
To participate all students are encourage to record their reading through our system.
Steps to log the hours.
1. Log in to my.valluvantamil.org
2. Select volunteer Hours
3. Click on the book icon under the student and click on the + icon. Add the reading log timings.
Its not late to start now……lets read tamil books!!!
