  • தமிழ்க்கண்காட்சி நிகழ்வைச் சிறப்பாக நடத்திய அனைத்து மாணவர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் தன்னார்வலர்களுக்கு நன்றி. நம் மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் தமிழ் நன்றாகப் பேசுவதைப் பார்ப்பது மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது. அனைத்து மாணவர்களின் விளக்கக்காட்சிகளும் சிறப்பாக அமைந்தன. 

  • இந்த வாரம் (பிப்ரவரி 1) தமிழ் வகுப்புகள் ஸ்டோன் நடுநிலைப்பள்ளியில் வழக்கம் போல நடைபெறும்.

February 1, 2020

  • Thank you to all students, parents and volunteers for making Tamil fair event a great success. It was very nice to see all our students speaking Tamil very well and did a great job with all the presentations. 

  • Regular classes will be held in Ormond Middle School. 

  • February 8th Activities : 

    • Venue : Freedom High School, Chantilly VA – Google Maps Link

    • Speech Competition : 9:30am – 12:00pm @ Auditorium 

    • Potluck Lunch : 11:00am – 2:30pm @ Cafeteria 

    • Snack Break : 4:00pm – 5:00pm @ Cafeteria 

    • Music Competition : 2:00 pm – 7:00pm @ Auditorium

Cultural Event Registration – Instructions 

  • Cultural Event Registrations – Instructions below : 

    • Parents log in to  My Valluvan.

    • Go to “Your info” tab and click on “Event Registration”

  • Once in this page, review the list of competitions that already show up for each of your child registered with VTA for this school year. The list of competitions are pre-filtered based on the category your child will participate in (Category is based on student’s age). 

  • Register your child for each of the competitions by providing all mandatory required fields otherwise you will be unable to submit the registration.

Reading Log – Tamil Reading 

To encourage Tamil reading,   Reading Log feature has been added to VTA website by our Technology team. Please encourage students to read a Tamil book every day and record that here. Use the book icon that appears under each student after logging in. There are plans in consideration to give prizes for top readers at the school year end. Lower level students can also read with parents and record that. If you need any help, please contact technology team.
